Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MergeMySheets (the "Service"), operated by Tillman Konsult AB ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

MergeMySheets is a web-based service that allows users to merge, process, and manage Excel and CSV files. The Service includes features such as file upload, column mapping, data merging, template creation, and export functionality.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Subscription Tiers

We offer Free, Pro, and Business subscription plans. Each plan has different features, limits, and pricing. Details are available on our Pricing page.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected during checkout
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are provided only in exceptional circumstances or as required by applicable law. Contact us at support@mergemysheets.com to request a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Upload files that infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload files containing sensitive personal data (e.g., health records, financial data) without proper authorization and compliance with applicable data protection laws

6. Data and File Handling

6.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to the files and data you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content. By uploading files, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Data Retention

• Free plan: Files are automatically deleted after 24 hours
• Pro and Business plans: Files are retained according to your plan's terms
• You may delete your files at any time through the Service

6.3 Data Backup

While we implement backup systems, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. We are not liable for data loss.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Tillman Konsult AB and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TILLMAN KONSULT AB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tillman Konsult AB, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
